how do you make your products?

The process generally goes like this:

1. illustrate the designs on my iPad Pro using the app Procreate.

2. format files in Photoshop to fit the guidelines of the manufacturer

3. place my order at the manufacturer's site ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ

is the shop eco-friendly?

Yes! I'm constantly at work to make my store more and more sustainable and environmentally friendly. Because these packaging supplies are more expensive than the alternative, I'm able to make more sustainability efforts as my business grows.

The main ways that I promote sustainability are by limiting plastic use, recycling packaging, and choosing packaging materials that are recyclable/biodegradable when I can.

Nearly all orders are packaged in glassine bags--glassine is a water resistant, curbside recyclable, and biodegradable material made out of paper that is a great alternative to plastic!

If you're a fellow shop owner interested in more sustainable packaging, botanical illustrator Lianne Pflug has a helpful list here of her favorite eco-friendly materials.

Submit any other questions below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can ♡
